Camp Allen, formerly known as Camp Elmore, is a 15-acre satellite base for Naval Station Norfolk. It’s used by the Marine Corps Forces Command and the Marine Corps Security Forces Regiment. Because it’s part of Naval Station Norfolk, housing for unaccompanied service members is the barracks on Naval Station Norfolk. 

Priority is given to ranks E-3 below. Those in ranks E-4 and above can use their Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) to find housing in the local community. To get started, you’ll visit the housing office on the Naval Station Norfolk base.

For service members accompanied by their families, there are several communities for living on Camp Allen, managed by Lincoln Military Housing. These communities include:
